• Quilter's Marathon - Don't forget the "Quilters Marathon" begins Thursday, April 28th and runs through Saturday, May 5th. 38 shops in NE Wisconsin are participating - You complete the amount of the race you desire 3K (3 shops), 5K (5 shops), 10K (10 shops), half marathon (12 shops) and full marathon (over 20 shops). All the shps are having specials and many are having door prizes - and the Marathon has prizes at each level that include a $100 and a $50 shopping spree. The top level for completing the marathon is to be entered into all drawing levels plus the grand pize $250 shopping spree! Get your friends together and plan to have some fun! Pre-race sign up at Life's A Stitch on Wed. 4/25/12 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Get all your race info and have access to an early special race sale - $1 off all fat qtrs from our pre-cut fat qtr wall! Refreshments will be served!

• Bernina Quilt Motion Software - Check out this cool, new way to finish your quilts. Choose your design and/block, and have the software do your quilting If interested, call us and we can set-up a personal demo.

• 1st Tuesday of every month - Afternoon Open Sew - Every Tue. afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00pm.! A great opportunity to finish your projects or start a new one! Irons and cutting mats are set-up and ready for you to use - Coffee and spring water available. Hope to see you! - Mary

• Sew For a Cause - This group meets every month on the third Thurs. from 4-6pm to make pillowcases for local charities. Everyone is welcome - Just let us know you're coming, and if needed, we can usually even provide you a machine.

• Bernina Club - Each session has a fun virtual show by a Bernina educator exploring new techniques. We meet each month usually on the last Thur. at 6pm. Cost is $12 per session and includes a CD with handouts. Must pre-register. See the "Bernina Club" page for more info on each session and future dates.

• New Service Program - Life's A Stitch has one of the best technical teams in the Midwest. We service all brands "on-site" -no chance of damaging your machine moving it to a different location - and offer a quick turnaround with a 90 day warranty. And now we are accepting appointments for your service. Weith an appt. we "strive" to finish in 2 hours or less! Originally designed for customers traveling long distances, testing concluded that an appointment can, at times, have benefits for all.

Pleae keep in mind: 1.) An appointment is not necessary for everyone - You can still drop off your machine at anytime, and we will get it back to you quickly. 2.) Even with an appointment, sometimes we will not meet the 2 hour goal due to needed parts or extended diagnosis of a problem.
