   showing the new Bernina Quilt Motion software – it's amazing how it moves the Bernina

   sewing machine across your quilt and does fantastic designs and quilting.

• Green Bay area Fall Shop Hop is Thur. Sep. 22 thru Sat. Sep 24^th.  Great savings and

  great fun, and a chance to win one of two grand prizes – a weekend for 2 in Door County

   or a beautiful sewing bag packed full of quilting tools and supplies.

• You won't want to miss Anita Carpenter's fantastic session on Wisconsin's plant and

   wildlife, as told thru her beautiful quilts that replicate true color of our native species.    

  The show is Sat.Oct.29^th and is a fund raiser for the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.

• Also in Oct., Mary Ellen Beebe is back with an all day workshop "Moving Beyond  

  Stippling" on Sat. Oct. 22nd. This class will fill up early, so sign up soon.

• And yes, we are having another Yoga class for quilters!  Learn some great ways to

  relieve neck and back pain for everyone sewing.

New Service Program

Life's A Stitch has one of the best Technical teams in the Midwest. We service all brands and have a quick turnaround (usually 10 days or less) with a 90 day warranty. On Sep 20^th, we will also begin accepting appointments for your service. With an appt., we will "strive" to finish in 2 hours or less! Originally designed for customers traveling long distances, testing concluded that an appointment can, at times, have benefits for all. Please keep in mind:

1.      An appointment is not necessary for everyone - You can still drop off your machine at anytime, and we will get it back to you quickly.

2.      Even with an appointment, sometimes we will not meet the 2 hour goal due to needed parts or extended diagnosis of a problem.

· 3-D embroidery – Bernina has developed some 3-D embroidery patterns – We have the first collection which is a children's book in stock. It is pretty neat – comes with 2 pair of 3-D glasses and costs $29.99. Stop in and check it out – great for grand kids!

· Sew for a Cause   Over the summer we completed 30 quilt tops for the children's floor at St. Vincent's hospital. This fall we will be making pillowcases again for several area shelters. We meet every 3rd Thurs. from 4-6pm. If interested in helping a good cause please join us. We except donated fabric for making these pillow cases.

· Bernina Club - Each session has a fun virtual show by a Bernina educator exploring new techniques. We meet each month usually on the last Thur. at 6pm. 9/22, 10/27& 11/17. Cost is $12 per session and includes a CD with handouts. Must pre- register.
